The Girl Effect Foundation in collaboration with the World Bank commissioned several female artists to create pieces that spoke to the empowerment of teen girls in third world countries and the battles they face in everyday life. The artwork was originally seen in Washington DC at the World Bank, (including 2 of the artists painting live in the atrium) before being shipped to London and installed at the Department for International Development.
