DCD was invited by Nikes North America Retail team to curate and direct a football mural for their new Nike Store at the Grove here in Los Angeles. This mural would act as a backdrop to the footwear trial area. It needed to represent the brand and football category by using pinnacle athletes, the city connection with football and the essence of the city. We asked renowned muralist Tristan Eaton to execute this, as we knew that his multi layered imagery and use of lettering would be perfect for this, and he did not disappoint.
